Three Good Shows This Week

October 2, 2010

For the first time in a long while, this is shaping up to be a busy week for good music in Fredericton. To wit, The Nymphets are playing The Capital on Monday with The Great Sabatini and Mammoth Mammoth. Which is kind of weird. Anyway. Here’s what the The Nymphets look and sound like:

On Tuesday we’re putting on a show at Gallery Connexion with Montreal’s Data Cave and AHNA from Vancouver. I’m especially jazzed about the latter, but both bands are strange and loud and good. Please come.

Then on Friday, we’re hosting another cavalcade of the nearly unlistenable featuring The Strawmen, Meat Curtains, and seldom-seen Mess Folk from Sydney, NS. Come on out, bring the kids. And some earplugs, probably. Here’s Mess Folk at The Khyber as part of the most recent OBEY Convention.
